Abstract:

For decades packaging manufacturers from Germany and Italy have been controlling world export markets. In 2014 both countries exported packaging machines worth 10 billion Euro holding a lion's share of 56% of the world export markets - far ahead from other countries. Being successful for such a long period of time companies need to continuously re-invent themselves. But for sure: critical success factors of the past will still lay the ground for the future.
